Attorney Kathryn Polsley of Ottawa, KS; convicted thief

The state of Kansas presented Kathryn S. Polsley with a law license in 1979.

The Kansas Disciplinary Board found Kathy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Committed a criminal act reflecting on untrustworthiness
• Convicted of theft of government property
• Engaged in selfish conduct
• Misconduct motivated by dishonest motives
• Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
• Spent Social Security checks for mother who was dead
• Pled guilty to willfully/knowingly stealing Mom’s SS checks
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice

As a consequence of her misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Kansas Supreme Court punished Kathy by gifting her with a complimentary 2-year suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. March 2016) Kathy practices at 627 South Locust in Ottawa, Kansas.
