Attorney Stanley Stallworth of Chicago; accused sexual predator

The state of Illinois presented Stanley Bernard Stallworth with a law license in 1990 after he graduated from the University of South Carolina Law School.

In late 2013, Stanley was arrested in regards to an alleged Thanksgiving Day sexual assault that took place in Stanley’s home. Stanley and his 22-year-old nephew, Therrie Miller, were charged with assaulting an 18-year-old man at Stanley’s home in Chicago’s Bronzeville neighborhood.

The victim told prosecutors he met Mr. Miller at a barbershop and drank fewer than two cocktails at

Stanley’s home. The victim further said he passed out and when he awoke he was being sexually assaulted.

As one would suspect, Stanley vigorously denies he sexually assaulted anyone. The Sidley Austin law firm said the criminal charges have nothing to do with Stanley’s activities at the firm.

All that’s left now is to wait for the day when the prosecutor announces that Stanley has copped a plea to the sexual assault charge in exchange for a reduced sentence.

Even if Stanley is found guilty, it is unlikely that the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Commission will take any action against Stanley.

As we speak (ca. May 2014), Stanley practices with Sidley Austin, LLP at One South Dearborn in Chicago, Illinois.
