Attorney Renee Sanchez-Akers of Weatherford, TX; thieving loser

The state of Texas presented Renee A. Sanchez-Akers with a law license in 2004 after she graduated from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law.

The District 14 Grievance Committee found Renee guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Ordered to pay $3,500 in restitution to her client [victim]
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
  • Failed to comply with client information requests
  • Failed to explain the matter to the extent reasonably necessary to permit the complainant to make informed decisions regarding the representation
  • Failed to promptly render a full accounting regarding the fee paid to her
  • Upon being terminated Renee ailed to take steps to the extent reasonably practicable to protect client’s interests
  • Failed to refund advance payments of the fee that had not been earned (thief)
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Renee!)

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Renee by gifting her with a complimentary stayed 12-month suspension of her law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Texas Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Renee.

As we speak (ca. May 2021), Renee practices her brand of law with the Parker County Attorney’s Office at 101 North Main Street in Weatherford, Texas.
