The state of Ohio presented Francis Edward Sweeney Jr. with a law license in 1992 after he graduated from Cleveland State University Law School.

The Cleveland Metropolitan Bar found Fran guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to communicate with client
• Neglected client’s legal matter
• Misconduct caused harm to vulnerable victims
• Failed to protect client’s interests after withdrawal
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Misconduct involved multiple offenses

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Fran by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 6-month suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Fran.

As we speak (ca. March 2016), Fran practices at 6105 Parkland Blvd in Mayfield Heights, Ohio, which is a suburb of Cleveland.
