Retired Judge Dana Fortinberry of Clarkston, MI; lying loser

The state of Michigan provided Dana Fortinberry with a law license in 1966.

The Judicial Tenure Commission found Dana guilty of the following misconduct, all of which took place while she was sitting as a 52^nd District Court judge in Troy, Michigan, which is a suburb of Detroit.

• Failed to personally observe high standards of conduct
• Failed to avoid all appearances of impropriety
• Failed to act in manner to promote public confidence in judiciary
• Failed to verify truth or falsity of statements she made
• Falsely asserted that court clerk engaged in improper sexual affair

As a consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Dana by gifting her with a complimentary censure.
