Attorney Carmen Trutanich of Los Angeles; serial scofflaw

The state of California provided Carmen Anthony Trutanich with a law license in 1979 after he graduated from South Bay University Law School in Harbour City, California.

The California State Bar Court found Carmen guilty of the following misconduct, all of which took place while he was employed as the elected Los Angeles City Attorney/Prosecutor.

• Hid evidence in a death penalty case
• Failed to correct false testimony of a key prosecution witness
• Federal overturned criminal conviction due to Carmen’s egregious misconduct
• Federal judge ruled that Carmen knew/should have known key witness testimony was false
• Withheld true name and address of witness from defense
• Federal judge said Carmen’s actions were “deeply troubling”
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Knowingly/negligently suborned perjured testimony of prosecution witness

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Carmen by the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California State Bar Court.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Bar Court punished Carmen by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
