Attorney James Gilland of Layton, UT; moronic loser

The State of Utah presented James K. Gilland with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from Drake University Law School.

The Ethics and Discipline Committee of the Utah Supreme found Jimmy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to provide competent representation (idiot)
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Violated or attempted to violate rules of conduct, knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another
• Failed to purse client’s claim before statute of limitations tolled

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Utah Supreme Court punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
