Barrister Boon Hong of Auckland, NZ; bullying loser

The Law Society of New Zealand presented Boon Gunn Hong with a law license in 1990.

The New Zealand Lawyers and Conveyancers Disciplinary Tribunal found Boon guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Made inappropriate threats that he would contact former clients directly
  • Exhibited troubling lack of insight into his professional obligations
  • Engaged in flagrant breach of the rules
  • Thoroughly demonstrated his discourtesy and disrespect for fellow practitioner
  • Failed to exhibit any remorse for his conduct

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Boon’s first bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He had been previously disciplined for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Tribunal punished Boon by gifting him with a complimentary 4-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. March 2016), Boon practices on Shortland Street in Auckland, New Zealand.
