Barrister Quentin Duff of Wellington, NZ; repeat offender

The Law Society of New Zealand presented Quentin Duff with a law license in 1998.

The New Zealand Lawyers and Conveyancers Disciplinary Tribunal found Quentin guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Falsely claimed in renewal application for practicing certificate that he had not been a director of a company put into liquidation
  • Conduct regarding renewal application was reckless

As one would suspect this wasn’t Quentin’s first bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary reprimand for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Tribunal punished Quentin by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. March 2016), Quentin practices in Wellington, New Zealand.
