Attorney James Burge of Avon, OH; ethical gremlin

The state of Ohio presented James Michael Burge with a law license in 1975 after he graduated from Cleveland State University Law School.

In an effort to once again place his significant snout in the public trough, Jimmy has the audacity to try and dupe the voters in the greater Elyria area of elected him as a Lorain County Common Pleas judge.

In this matter, Jimmy violated Ohio law when he failed to file his financial disclosure statement with the Ohio Supreme Court when he announced his candidacy for the aforementioned judgeship.

Failing to file the financial disclosure statement is a criminal misdemeanor that could lead to a fine and/or imprisonment. However, the local prosecutor who also acts as an apologist for Judicial Misfits stated he will not file any criminal charges against Jimmy. In fact, he was proud to announce that he’s never indicted a judge for so acting in the past.

Clearly, the prosecutor doesn’t want to cross swords with a local judge who he must rely on for favorable decisions while prosecuting alleged criminals.

I’m fairly confident that the voters in Elyria will not be fooled into voting for to allow this convict to once again sit on the bench.

As we speak (ca. March 2016), Jimmy practices his so-called brand of law at 37852 Colorado Avenue in Avon, Ohio, which is about 21 miles west of Cleveland.
