The state of Ohio presented Wilhelm G. Spiegelberg II with a law license in 1982 after he graduated from Cleveland State University Law School.

In one matter, Billy has announced his candidacy to run in the Republican primary against Lorain County Common Pleas Judge Michele Silva Arredondo.

In an obvious effort to establish that he’s not fit to sit on the bench, Billy violated when he failed to file his financial disclosure statement with the Ohio Supreme Court when he announced his candidacy for the aforementioned judgeship.

Even though such conduct constitutes a criminal misdemeanor in Ohio, the local prosecutor has stated that he will not file criminal charges against Billy. In fact, he was proud to announce that he’s never indicted a judge for so acting in the past.

Failing to obey a law as simple as the one requiring the filing of a financial statement is in my opinion disqualifies Billy from sitting on the bench.

Hopefully, the voters in the greater Elyria area will not be duped into electing Billy as a Lorain County Common Pleas judge in November.

As we speak (ca. March 2016), Billy practices his so-called brand of law at 5555 Turney Road in Garfield Heights, Ohio, which is about 10  miles southeast of Cleveland.
