Attorney James Valdez of Salt Lake City; convicted wife beater

The state of Utah presented James A. Valdez with a law license in 1977 after he graduated from the University of Utah Law School.

In one matter, Jimmy was charged with one count of domestic violence aggravated assault, which is a third-degree felony. (DeseretNews)

Police reported that Jimmy repeatedly punched his wife and puller her hair during an incident at his birthday party at their Millcreek home.

Jimmy’s wife told police she lost consciousness and woke up in the foyer of her home with her a big gash on her face. After medical personnel and the police arrived at her home, the wife was taken to St. Mark’s Hospital.

Subsequently, Jimmy the Coward pled no contest (guilty in effect) to assaulting his wife.

As we speak (ca. March 2016), Jimmy continues to practice in Sal Lake City, Utah.
