Attorney David Chong of Ontario, CAN: ethical elf

The Law Society presented David Chong with a law license in 1981 after he graduated from the University of Toronto Law School.

A Disciplinary Hearing Panel found Dave guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to attend court ordered hearing on client’s behalf
• Failed to give notice of claim to LawPRO as required

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee of the Law Society of Upper Canada punished Dave by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
