Attorney William Starnes of Knoxville; cheating loser

The state of Tennessee provided William Brian Starnes with a law license in 1985 after he graduated from the University of Tennessee Law School.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Billy guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to communicate with clients
  • Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Dave!)
  • Charged clients extra for phone conversations (cheater)
  • Delayed in returning clients’ files after being fired

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Dave by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. March 2016) Dave practices at 1735 Main Street in Tazewell, Tennessee.
