Judge James Justin is yet another ignoramus that succeeded in duping the voters in Jackson County, Michigan to initially elect him to a judgeship in 1976. Moreover, Judge Justin has spent his entire career porking out at the public trough. After graduating from law school in 1969 his work history is:
It is painfully clear that the law firms in the Jackson County area weren’t about to offer this celebrated intellectual dwarf a job!!
Recently, Judge Justin was charged with a variety of misconduct by the Michigan Committee on Judicial Ethics, which is as follows.
Judge Justin dismisses 4 illegal-parking tickets issued to him
From 2002 to 2004, Judge Justin was awarded with 4 illegal-parking tickets. He subsequently dismissed the 4 tickets; however, he only so acted after he provided an “explanation” to himself. Apparently the “explanation” given to Judge Justin by himself went something like this.
Judge Justin: Your Honor, I’d like to address the 4 illegal parking tickets.
Judge Justin: You go right ahead Your Honor!
Judge Justin: Thank you Your Honor! I don’t believe the City of Jackson has the constitutional authority to issue tickets to a sitting judge.
Judge Justin: And what part of the constitution are you relying on Your Honor?
Judge Justin: The separation of powers doctrine Your Honor.
Judge Justin: Well sir, I’m sorry I mean Your Honor. I agree with you Your Honor. These 4 cases are hereby dismissed with prejudice (legal speak meaning he can never be recharged).
Judge Justin dismisses 5 traffic tickets issued to his wife Kim
Judge Justin also dismissed five (5) traffic tickets, most of which were for speeding against his wi
 fe, Kim R. Justice, from 1999 and 2009.
The nine (9) tickets that Judge James Justin fixed for himself and his wife carried penalties totaling a measly $751. Here we have a certified buffoon (my apologies to buffoons) who has received well over $1.1 million dollars in wages from the taxpayers since 1999 who refused to pay $751 for his and his wife’s repeated violations of traffic laws. What a loser!
In July 2010, the Michigan Supreme Court ordered that Judge Justin be suspended with pay during the pendancy of the Judicial Commission’s investigation of his egregious misconduct. What an unmitigated joke! This scofflaw will continue to be paid $2,654 a week by the taxpayers into the unknown future. And this doesn’t count the $570 the taxpayers are being forced to pay a retired visiting judge to take over Justin’s docket.
If things work out like they normally do with the Judicial Commission, Judge Justin’s punishment will be a complimentary public reprimand. This would be in keeping with the documentary evidence that judges are held to a “lower standard of conduct” than we are.
