The state of Louisiana presented Darrell D. Ryland with a law license in 1974.

The Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board found Darrell guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in a conflict of interest
• Failed to exercise independent professional judgment
• Violated or attempted to violate Rules of Professional Conduct

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Darrell by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day stayed suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Darrell.
