The state of Louisiana presented David W. Groner with a law license in 1981 after he graduated from Louisiana State University Law School.

The Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board found Dave guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
• Failed to provide written contingency fee agreement to client
• Entered into fee agreement limiting liability for malpractice
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Dave by gifting him with a complimentary stayed deferred suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Dave. 

As we speak (ca. February 2016) Dave practices with The Law Offices of David Groner PLC at 230 West Main Street in New Iberia, Louisiana.
