Attorney Beverly Grant of University Place, WA; ethical elf
The state of Washington presented Beverly Gayle Grant with a law license in
1978 after she graduated from the University of Washington Law School.
Bev’s misconduct took place while she was sitting as a Judge for the Pierce County
Superior Court in Tacoma, Washington. That misconduct led the Judicial Commission
to find Carmel guilty of the following misconduct.
After presiding over a sentencing hearing in a manslaughter case that occurred on
the Friday before the Super Bowl, Bev opened the hearing by inviting those present
in her so-called courtroom to join her in cheering: “Go Seahawks.”
Dissatisfied with the unenthusiastic response to her asinine request, she repeated
it once again.
As a consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on
the Washington State SupremeCourt punished Bev by gifting her with a complimentary
admonishment.
As we speak (ca. February 2016), Bev practices with the Beverly Grant Law Firm
PS at 3929 Bridgeport Way West in University Place, Washington.
