Judge Marsha Stewart of Harrisburg, PA; nepotistic loser

The state of Pennsylvania presented Marsha C. Stewart with a law license in 1969 after she graduated from Western State University Law School.

In one matter, Marsha was accused of nepotism because she employed her husband as a process server.

A constable filed a lawsuit against Marsha in 2014, claiming that she had failed to pay $9,000 in fees to him and other constables who served legal papers on her behalf.

Subsequently, President Judge Richard Lewis issued an order (FOX 43) that states:

  • “Judge Stewart is directed to immediately cease utilizing the services of Constable Michael Stewart... Since Magisterial District Judge Marsha Stewart is married to Constable Michael Stewart she is prohibited from appointing Constable Stewart in Magisterial District Court 12-1-04.”

As we speak (ca. February 2016), Marsha continues to sit as a Dauphin County Magisterial District Court judge in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
