The State of New York presented Peter E. Corning with a law license in 1962 after he graduated from Syracuse University Law School.

Pete’s misconduct took place while she sitting as Cayuga County Family Court Judge, which caused the New York Commission on Judicial Conduct to find him guilty of the following misconduct.

• Falsely certified a bail bond in releasing criminal defendant
• Negligent in performance of judicial duties
• Falsely certified that defendant had appeared in his presence

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Commission punished Jo Pete by gifting him with a complimentary admonition.
