Attorney Sean Soboleski of Asheville, NC; thieving loser

The state of North Carolina provided Sean David Soboleski with a law license in 2001 after he graduated from Campbell University Law School.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Sean guilty of the following misconduct.

• In lemon law case, tried to obtain attorney charging lien against the client at the outset of the representation via agreement contract
• Falsely asserted to client that charging lien existed when in fact no judgment had been entered against the client
• Attempted to collect an illegal fee
• Disbursed funds to himself against client’s wishes
• Disbursed entrusted funds belonging to client in purported payment of fees the client allegedly owned to Sean’s wife for legal work performed in an unrelated matter

As a consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Sean by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. February 2016) Sean practices with Soboleski Law PC at One Oak Plaza in Asheville, North Carolina.
