Attorney John Coy of Salt Lake City; slacker, loser  

The State of Utah presented John V. Coy with a law license in 1996 after she graduated from Brigham Young University (BYU) School of Law

The Ethics and Discipline Committee of the Utah Supreme found Johnny guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to prepare mediation agreement and deliver the client’s check to opposing counsel
• Failed to provide client with accounting of claimed fees until after the client terminated his representation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Utah Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand. 

As we speak (ca. October 2020), Johnny practices with the Law Office of John V. Coy at 50 West Broadway in Salt Lake City, Utah.
