Attorney Lourdes Coleman of Augusta, GA; ethical elf

The state of Georgia presented Lourdes Neely Coleman with a law license in 1982 after she graduated from the University of Missouri Law School.

The Georgia State Bar found Lourdes guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to provide client with an accounting
  • Failed to turn over entire client file to client after being discharged
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Lourdes!)

As a consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Georgia Supreme Court punished Lourdes by gifting her with a complimentary 6-month suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. January 2016), Lourdes practices at 511 Courthouse Lane in Augusta, Georgia.
