Attorney James Harris of Wichita Falls, TX; cheating loser

The state of Texas presented James Bruce Harris with a law license in 2005 after he graduated from Oklahoma City University School of Law.

The District 14 Grievance Committee found Walt guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Neglected legal matter entrusted to him
• Failed to perform legal work on a criminal matter
• Failed failing to explain the criminal matter to the extent reasonably necessary to permit the client to make informed decisions regarding the representation
• Failed to promptly render a full accounting to his client regarding the fees paid
• Upon client termination, Jimmy failed to refund advance payments of a $5,000fee that had not been earned (cheater)
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Jimmy!)
• Ordered to pay $5,000 in restitution to his client [victim]

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 6-month suspension of his law license and assessed investigative costs of $2,300.00.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Texas Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Jimmy.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Jimmy fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.bruceharrislaw.com. Apparently, he chose to conceal this relevant information for the purpose of not limiting his future victim pool.
