Attorney David Roland of Hubbard, OH; ethical dwarf

The state of Ohio presented David Keith Roland with a law license in 1986 after he graduated from the University of Toledo Law School.

The Trumbull County Bar Association found Dave guilty of the following misconduct.

Over 4 years Dave was given $961,426.26 in funds to deposit in his trust account by a client. All of the deposits/transfers were in small amounts of less than $10,000. In so acting, Dave allowed his doctor client to hide money from her husband.

Husband sued Dave and his client and the court of appeals found probable cause that Dave had helped his client facilitate a fraud.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Dave by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. January 2016) Dave practices with the D. Keith Roland Law Office at 4505 Loganway in Hubbard, Ohio.
