Attorney Bruce Taubman of Cleveland, OH; ethical dwarf

The state of Ohio presented Bruce David Taubman with a law license in 1976 after he graduated from Capitol University Law School in Columbus, Ohio.

Disciplinary Counsel found Bruce guilty of the following misconduct.

• Negligently withdrew settlement proceeds held in client guardianship account
• Failed to hold client funds in interest bearing account
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law
• Commingled client funds with personal funds

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Bruce by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 6-month suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Bruce.
