The Law Society of provided Lawrence McNulty with a law license in 1985.

 

The Bar Standards Board found Larry guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in conduct bringing profession into disrepute
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Engaged in inappropriate conduct during court proceedings
  • Improperly accused trial judge of being biased
  • Made improper closing arguments during trial
  • Impugned witnesses w/o giving them opportunity to respond
  • Failed to timely inform prosecutor of defenses he would be raising at trial
  • In closing argument at trial, gave jury false impressions of evidence

In addition, the Lord Chief Justice referred to Larry’s “flagrant misconduct and alleged professional incompetence” while he represented Munir Farooqui at a trial held in Manchester.

 

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Barrister Misfits sitting on the Bar Standards Board punished Larry by gifting him with a complimentary 4-month suspension of his law license.

 

As we speak (ca. January 2016), Larry practices at 62 Westbourne Park Villas in London, United Kingdom.
