Judge Barry Salman of Bronx, NY; ethical gremlin

The state of New York presented Barry Salman with a law license in 1965 after he graduated from St. John’s University Law School.

The New York State Commission on Judicial Conduct found Barry guilty of the following misconduct.

• Improperly purchased 6 tickets to a political dinner
• Used campaign funds for personal use
• Purchased video camcorder for purposes unrelated to his campaign
• Paid personal monthly cellular phone bills with campaign funds

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Commission punished Barry by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. January 2016) Barry continues to sit as a Justice of the Bronx Supreme Court in New York.
