Attorney Steven Maynard of Nashua, NH; ethical leprechaun

The state of New Hampshire presented Steven L. Maynard with a law license in 1979 after he graduated from the University of Colorado Law School. Stevie also received a license from Colorado in 1975.

The Professional Conduct Committee on Professional Standards found Stevie guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
  • Failed to advise client of manner of accounting for time and fee charges
  • Failed to respond to client requests for information
  • Failed to maintain contemporaneous records of his work
  • Improperly withdrew client funds for fees on estimated basis

As a consequence of his misconduct his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Professional Conduct Committee punished Stevie by gifting him with complimentary stayed 6-month suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Conduct Committee didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Stevie.

As we speak (ca. July 2015), Stevie practices in Nashua, New Hampshire.
