Attorney David Schrauth of Winnetka, IL; lying loser

The state of Illinois presented David M. Schrauth with a law license in 1991.

The Illinois Registration and Disciplinary Commission found Dave guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Dave allowed a client’s personal injury matter to be dismissed because he failed to appear at a status hearing. Over the course of the following five years, Dave misled the client into believing that the case was still pending.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Dave by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (January 2016), Dave practices with Stephens & Schrauth PC at 833 Elm Street in Winnetka, Illinois.
