Attorney James Miller of Nogales, AZ; convicted druggie

 

The state of Arizona presented James F. Miller with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from the University of Tulsa Law School.

 

The Arizona State Bar found Jimmy guilty of misconduct as set forth below.

  • Wrote several checks on insufficient funds account (rubber)
  • Commingled client funds with personal funds
  • Took cash advances on credit card from trust account
  • Failed to maintain client ledgers
  • Misconduct involved multiple offenses
  • Failed to perform three-way reconciliations of client trust accounts
  • Engaged in the illegal use of controlled substances
  • Convicted of possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony drug offense
  • Convicted of Driving Under the Influence (DUI)
  • Accepted advance fees and failed to perform work for clients
  • Engaged in a pattern of misconduct

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders of Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Jimmy by gifting him with yet another complimentary 3-year suspension of his law license.

 

As we speak (ca. December 2015) Jimmy practices at 1859 North Grand Avenue in Nogales, Arizona.
