Attorney Luna Yap of Singapore; ethical gremlin

The Law Society of Singapore presented Luna Yap with a law license in 1980 after she graduated from the Cambridge University School of Law.

The Singapore Law Society found Ms. Yap guilty of the following misconduct.

• Advised client to not to immediately disclose $1.35 million he kept in his bank deposit box during a legal battle over the division of matrimonial assets

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misconduct sitting on the Court of the Three Judges punished Yap by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. January 2019), Ms. Yap continues to practice as an Advocate & Solicitor in Singapore.
