Attorney Matthew Hale of Seattle; cheating loser

The state of Washington presented Matthew T. Hale with a law license in 1998 after he graduated from Indiana University Law School.

The Washington State Bar found Matty guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to safeguard client property
  • Failed to return unearned fees (cheater)
  • Failed to properly terminate representation
  • Failed to protect client confidences
  • Failed to deposit unearned fees into trust account
  • Failed to include language re: flat fee in contract
  • Failed to take necessary steps to protect client interests after discharge

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington State Supreme Court punished Matty by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. December 2015), Matty practices in Seattle, Washington.

Warning:  Matty is not covered by legal malpractice insurance
