Attorney Linda Smink of Rahway, NJ; ethical misfit

The state of New Jersey presented Linda A. Smink with a law license in 1989 after he graduated from Seton Hall University Law School.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Linda guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to communicate to client basis for fee in writing
• Failed to communicate with client’s mother
• Failed to inform client that time to appeal had expired

As a consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Linda by gifting her with a complimentary admonition.
