Attorney David Silverman of Clifton, NJ; ethical gremlin

The state of New Jersey presented David S. Silverman with a law license in 1971 after he graduated from Seton Hall University Law School.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Dave guilty of the following misconduct.

• Improperly compensated someone for recommending his services
• Shared fees with non-lawyer
• Failed to report payments to person recommending services on tax returns

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Dave by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. January 2016) Dave practices in Clifton, New Jersey.
