Attorney Stephen Schnitzer of Livingston, NJ; ethical misfit

The state of New Jersey presented Stephen Schnitzer with a law license in 1968 after he graduated from Rutgers University Law School.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Stevie guilty of the following misconduct.  

• Improperly disbursed $248,000 to himself via use of trust account checks
• Commingled client funds with personal funds for 17 years

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Stevie by gifting him with a complimentary admonition.

As we speak (ca. December 2015) Stevie practices at 40 Northfield Road in Livingston, New Jersey.
