Attorney Howard Schiff of West Long Branch, NJ; ethical elf

The state of New Jersey presented Howard P. Schiff with a law license in 1968 after he graduated from the College of William & Mary Law School.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Howie guilty of the following misconduct.   

• Filed inaccurate proofs of service to obtain default judgments in collection matters while representing the Hong Kong Shanghai Banking Corporation
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
• Violated or attempted to violate the Rules of Professional Conduct, knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another
• Made a false statement of material fact to a tribunal
• Failed to properly supervise office staff

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Glen by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. December 2015) Howie practices at 211 Monmouth Road in West Long Branch, New Jersey.
