Attorney Nicholas Turco of Newark, NJ; repeat offender

The state of New Jersey presented Nicholas J. Turco with a law license in 1972 after he graduated from Seton Hall University Law School. Nick also received a law license from the state of New York in 1981.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Nick guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in a conflict of interest
  • Represented two parties in regards to an investment
  • Failed to explain matter to extent reasonably necessary to permit the client to make informed decisions about the representation
  • Neglected legal matter entrusted to him

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Nick’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Tree. He previously received a complimentary reprimand for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Nick by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. December 2015) Nick practices at 56 Park Place in Newark, New Jersey.
