Attorney Ronald Thompson of Sicklerville, NJ; ethical gremlin

The state of New Jersey presented Ronald B. Thompson with a law license in 1990 after he graduated from Widener University Law School.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Ronnie guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to keep client informed as to status of legal matter
  • Failed to promptly respond to client information requests
  • Failed to expedite client litigation
  • Failed to explain matter to extent reasonably necessary to permit the client to make informed decisions about the representation

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Ronnie by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. December 2015) Charlie practices in Sicklerville, New Jersey.
