Attorney Charles Thomas of Paterson, NJ; ethical elf

The state of New Jersey presented Charles R. Thomas with a law license in 1985 after he graduated from North Carolina Central University Law School.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Charlie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Authorized misuse of government property

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Charlie by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. December 2015) Charlie practices in Paterson, New Jersey.
