Bell, CA City Manager Robert Rizzo; embarrassment to ethical thieves   LA Times reporters Jeff Gottlieb and Ruben Vives reported today (8/8/2010) that ex-City Manager Robert Rizzo’s true earnings per year was a tad more than the $800,000 previously reported. In fact, according to the Times, it’s a staggering $1.5 million.
The Times also reported that the so-called employment package for Robert Rizzo entitled him to vacation and sick leave of more than 28 weeks a year. That’s right Boys and Girls; 28 weeks a year, meaning Ol’ Bob’s actual earnings based on a 23 week work and $800,000 annual salary are as follows:
Now, let’s compare Ol’ Bob’s princely earnings at taxpayer expense against the annual median family income in Bell, which is $39,000.
What kind of pervert would knowingly and cheerfully defraud the hardworking citizens of Bell as is this case with Mr. Robert Rizzo?
If there’s any justice in this world, Robert Rizzo should be criminally convicted on multiple counts of felony fraud. I can’t imagine that a jury of his peers in Bell, California would find otherwise, right? And with the massive media attention, I’m confident that the sentencing judge would send Bobby packing for at least twenty or more years.
My first inclination was to have Bobby imprisoned at Folsom; however, I’ve been advised that the prisoners at Pelican Bay are much more friendly than their counterparts at Folsom or San Quentin for that matter.
And given the fact that Pelican Bay is basically run by the Mexican Mafia Gang, I’m sure they’ll treat Bobby with all the due respect he deserves for defrauding the hardworking Latinos in Bell (85% of the population).
Hopefully, the Warden will assign Bobby Baby to Cell No. 889 where he will be bunked up with Clarice (real name is Clarence) who I hear tell is one friendly feller. And since Clarice is a charter member of the Aryan Brotherhood at Pelican Bay, he should be able to keep members of the Mexican Mafia and
 the Nuestra Familia Gangs from harming Bobby for screwing the Latinos in Bell. Good luck on your new venture at Pelican Bay and/or Folsom and/or San Quentin. I’d suggest that ya spend of few of the ill-gotten dollars you stole from the citizens of Bell to purchase some industrial strength “soap-on-a-rope.”
Don't y'all think that Ol' Bobby will likely be quite popular when he arrives at Pelican Bay and shouldn't experience any problems in making new friends?
Conclusion
With the last name of Rizzo, it appears that Bobby is of Italian descent. If any of the following high-profile Italian immigrants were alive, they’d be absolutely appalled at Bob’s conduct in ripping-off those at the bottom of the economic ladder.
These guys acted with much more class and ethics than Mr. Bobby Rizzo ever did. Please no threatening emails from any family members of the above named fellows for the comparison. It was just in jest!
