Attorney Michael Brown of Fairfield, IA; ethical misfit

The state of Iowa presented Michael Ralph Brown with a law license in 1979 after he graduated from Drake University Law School.

The Iowa Supreme Court Attorney Disciplinary Board found Mike guilty of the following misconduct.

• Improperly communicated with adverse party represented by counsel

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Mike by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. January 2016), Mike practices with the Brown Law Office PC at 56 West Burlington Avenue in Fairfield, Iowa.
