Attorney Russel Neuwoehner of Dubuque; convicted tax cheat

The state of Iowa presented Russel A. Neuwoehner with a law license in 1972.

The Iowa Supreme Court Attorney Disciplinary Board found Billy guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to file Iowa state tax returns for three consecutive years
  • Convicted of third degree fraudulent practices
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Billy by gifting him with a second complimentary 3-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. January 2016), Billy practices at 698 Central Avenue in Dubuque, Iowa.
