Attorney William Morrison of Mason City, IA; repeat offender

 

The state of Iowa presented William T. Morrison with a law license in 1989 after he graduated from the University of Iowa Law School.

 

The Iowa Supreme Court Attorney Disciplinary Board found Billy guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Billy’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

 

In one matter, Billy found it acceptable to make a sexual advance toward a client.

 

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Billy by gifting him with a second complimentary admonition.

 

Billy’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Initiated a sexual relationship with a client
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Billy by gifting him with a second complimentary 3-month suspension of his law license.

 

As we speak (ca. January 2016), Billy practices with the Morrison Law Firm at 103 East State Street in Mason City, Iowa.
