Attorney Dustin Smith of West Des Moines; lying loser

The state of Iowa presented Dustin D. Smith with a law license in 1997.

The Iowa Supreme Court Attorney Disciplinary Board found Dusty guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to advise client that divorce action dismissed by court
• Failed to inform client of jurisdictional problems re: divorce matter
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Made material misrepresentation (lied) to client

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Dusty by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. December 2015), Dusty practices with Smith Law PC at 5550 Wild Rose Lane in West Des Moines, Iowa.
