Attorney Robert Newell of Portland, OR; ethical misfit

The state of Oregon provided Robert D. Newell with a law license in 1979 after he graduated from the University of Oregon Law School.

The Oregon State Bar found Bobby guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Bobby found it acceptable to violate the rules that prohibited him from communicating with a person who he knew was represented by counsel.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. December 2015) Bobby practices with Davis Wright Tremaine LLP at 1300 SW 5^th Avenue in Portland, Oregon.
