The state of Texas presented Edmund V. Caplicki with a law license in 1970 after he graduated from Cornell University Law School.

The New York Commission on Judicial Conduct found Adams guilty of the following misconduct, all of which took place while he was sitting as a Lagrange Town Justice.

In one matter, after a defendant charged with theft made a comment about a lawyer’s backside, Eddy responded by saying “Is that so bad?”

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Commission punished Eddy by gifting him with a complimentary admonition.
