Houston Sheriff Mike Jolley: Today’s “Screwball” Award Winner
Congratulations to….
Houston Sheriff Mike Jolley Today’s “Screwball” Award Winner
Recently (late November 2015), Harris County (Houston) Sheriff Mike Jolley defended a sign he posted in front of the Sherriff’s proudly pronounced of the Fox News Comedy Networks “Fox & friends,” that if people are offended by “Merry Christmas that maybe they don’t belong in this country.” (Scott Eric Kaufman)
In truth, Mike was defending the sign he erected that asserts that non-Christians are not welcome in Harris County. Mike’s asinine sign reads as follows:
Mike went on to tell the intellectually devoid viewers of Fox’s “Fox & Friends” the following:
Of course Mike doesn’t define what the make up is of the members of the so-called “silent majority” is. However, it appears that it may well be made up of the “mentally incapacitated majority” that actually believes that if you don’t say “Merry Christmas” that you are somehow a despicable commie pinko god hater.
One must wonder how much taxpayer dollars have been cheerfully spent by Mike in his asinine crusade to paint those who don’t mouth the words “Merry Christmas” during the holidays.
Congrats Mike; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Screwballs”; you are far too humble. |
