Attorney Alex Vasquez of Amarillo; ethical misfit

The state of Texas presented Alex Vasquez with a law license in 1984 after he graduated from Texas Southern University Law School.

The Grievance Committee found Alex guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Alex by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 18-month suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Texas Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Alex.
