Attorney Carl Barry of Austin; ethical gremlin

The state of Texas presented Carl Redford Barry with a law license in 2002 after he graduated from the University of Texas Law School.

The Grievance Committee found Carl guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to file online advertising with Advertising Review Committee of State Bar
• Failed to comply with repeated notices from State Bar re: online advertising
• Failed to provide relevant information re: online advertising

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Carl by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Texas Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Gary.
